Art Therapy
A space for expression, reflection, and connection.
My approach brings art-making and conversation together with care for identity, culture, and lived experience. Creative expression can offer another way to explore feelings and experiences when words are hard to find. No art experience is needed to begin.
Art therapy and therapeutic art workshops serve different purposes. Community workshops invite creativity and connection; clinical art therapy takes place within a professional therapeutic relationship.

Research & Practice
"Art Therapy as a Tool for Identity and Emotional Expression for Black Boys"
My research explores how art therapy can support Black boys in exploring identity and expressing emotions, including experiences that may be difficult to communicate through words alone.
The findings suggest that when Black boys are provided with culturally affirming environments that foster creativity, a sense of belonging, and emotional safety, they can develop skills that support resilience and long-term well-being.

Collage, color, and shared creative exploration.
